In the classroom's sacred space, they stand,

Black English teachers, a guiding hand,

With wisdom deep and hearts ablaze,

Igniting minds in countless ways.

Haki Madhubuti, fierce and bold,

His words like fire, stories told,

He stokes the flames of intellect,

In young hearts, respect he'll collect.

Tupac, poet, prophet, sage,

His rhymes a powerful language cage,

He taught us through his verses' might,

To fight for truth, to seek the light.

Kendrick Lamar, a modern bard,

His lyrics sharp, his visions hard,

He weaves tales of struggle and grace,

In every verse, a sacred space.

In classrooms filled with vibrant dreams,

Where knowledge flows in endless streams,

Black English teachers, you inspire,

Lighting minds with words of fire.

With eloquence, you pave the way,

For scholars of a brighter day,

In your words, we find our voice,

In your wisdom, we rejoice.

So let us honor, celebrate,

These educators, great and straight,

Who mold the minds of future's kin,

With love and words, let learning begin.
